We've had a lot going on here lately. What do you want to read about? Another trip to see airplanes? :) Connor is closer to 17 months old but here is a 16 month update anyway...
One of the biggest changes this month has been climbing. Connor has turned into a monkey and his favorite thing is climbing onto the couch, tables and chairs. He can climb on and off our bed by himself now, something the sleeping cats and sleeping Nick don't always appreciate in the mornings. :)
For a long time now, Connor has been really keen on making sure his stuffed animals get lots of kisses. He kisses them, makes them kiss each other and makes sure we kiss them. Now he's finally doling out the kisses himself and that has been really cute. He doesn't quite have a real pucker going on, but he sweetly wraps his arm around your neck and presses his lips onto yours. Yes, I need to get a picture of that sometime.
He is such a sweet, affectionate boy. I love it! He even chases down the cats for a good-night hug and kiss despite their protests. :)
Connor continues to babble almost nonstop in his own language. He still hasn't said anything clearly other than "uh oh". He does say mama and dada, but it's not like he's actually calling us or saying it TO us. What I find funny is when I ask Connor "Can you say Mama?" he just grins and laughs at me. Is he holding back on purpose? :)
He is a great communicator though. He understands so much, it surprises us every day.
He continues to be a ham, and a flirt and an all-around happy guy.
