Nick and I are mildly obsessed with Dr. Horrible's Sing a Long Blog. It's quite silly yet brilliant. We love it and find it endlessly hilarious. You really need to watch it to appreciate Connor as Captain Hammer.
So yes, Connor went in a very homemade Captain Hammer outfit. I doubt anyone at Chik-Fil-A recognized who Captain Hammer was but since at least 90% of the kids there were dressed as Superman/Superwoman, we felt good about Connor being unique. And of course we got a kick out of seeing him dressed up as our favorite character:
You just gotta love Chik-Fil-A! Not only did we get a free kids meal, but they had free super hero masks to decorate and wear, and a photographer that took the kids' pictures and gave them to the parents in a little frame-for FREE! In fact, the photo we had taken of Connor is so amazingly adorable we have it displayed in our living room and I really need to find a way to get it scanned and share it online.
