Slime!

GAK!

As much as we loved the Play Doh recipe, and still do, I have to give a big shout-out to this homemade slime recipe. Also known as GAK! :) My friend Tammy sent me the recipe and I was thrilled I had all the ingredients on hand already except glue. Glue is CHEAP! For less than $1 we were all set.

After reading through the instructions, I realized this would be a fun little science lesson for anyone homeschooling too. :)

All you need is Elmer's Glue, Borax, and water. Food coloring makes it fun but isn't necessary. Connor enjoyed being able to pick out what color his slime was though. :) This quite literally came together in 2 minutes! Here's a link to the recipe: http://lilluna.com/homemade-gak-recipe/

Connor has wanted nothing more than to play with this GAK all day. It's nice because the stuff is not at all messy, like Play Doh can be. :) Connor loves running his cars and trucks through it because it makes tracks. He pretends to get stuck in the slime. It's been very fun.
