Not-exactly-cute fact of this week: Baby's now the size of a banana!
Baby's digestive system is busy creating meconium (a tarry black substance made of swallowed amniotic fluid, digestive secretion, and dead cells), which will fill the first diaper after birth. And, if baby is a girl, her womb is now stocked up with her lifetime supply of six million eggs (the number will drop to around one million by birth).
In other news, Nick is safely in Guatemala and having an enjoyable time so far. He's been doing a lot of work in the offices, and last night made a 6 hour drive from Guatemala City to Nebaj. One of his team members has been really great about posting random mobile pictures onto Facebook so here are a few pics of Nick in Guatemala:

Silliness! :-)

A banana may not be exactly cute but it certainly has appeal, as does the whole comparative size thingy. Keep it going.
We're glad that Nick is safe and enjoying his time in Guatemala, and we will continue to pray that he returns home safely.
Grandpa stole my line...
Thanks again for sharing the fruits of your labors...well not labor yet, but soon!
