The Perfect Pumpkin

Nick and I took Connor to a pumpkin patch for the first time. It was the last weekend to go and although we were broke, we wanted to find one little pumpkin for Connor.

Connor had fun picking up pumpkins and carrying them around until he found another one to try out. He really wanted to lift big pumpkins and it was funny to watch him strain and grunt like a little weight lifter. :)

We found the pumpkin we wanted and tried to get a picture of Nick and Connor holding it, but Connor kept dropping it!

Later, Connor carried his little pumpkin all the way to the car. It was adorable! He got so many comments and admiring glances from people the entire time. Little ones at the pumpkin patch sure are cute!

I'm so glad we did this because this farm was closing down for the season after this weekend. It gave us a chance to visit with the farmers and find out what they grew and when they'd be open again. Too bad we have to wait until spring, but hopefully it'll be worth it to have a farm really close by to get lots of fresh veggies at next year.

Connor excited to be bringing home his perfect little pumpkin! :)
