Children's Museum

When Connor was a newborn, a friend told me about a museum nearby that was just for little kids. They have a room just for crawling babies and I've been looking forward to Connor crawling just so we could finally check it out. :) Since Nick is starting work next week, we decided to have some family fun this weekend. We took Connor to the museum and he had a blast!

First, he played and explored the art room for a good hour. There were no other babies crawling around and he still enjoyed playing. Later, he crawled around after the bigger kids and explored the other areas.

This museum is small and they have one special exhibit going on at a time. This month it was baseball. We couldn't take pictures inside the gallery, but Connor had fun looking at everything. On the other side of the art work, there were stations set up for kids to color, draw, read books about baseball, try on jerseys, even play Wii baseball. :) We tried on a couple of jerseys and Nick and Connor played with a few of the toys.

It was fun and we were so impressed with Connor. Two whole hours and not a single bit of whining, crying, etc. He was just SO into seeing everything and he loved being around all the kids. We might be moving pretty far away from this location, but we are still considering getting a year membership. Even if I took Connor once a week, it'd be worth it!
