Pueblo Zoo

We drove down to Pueblo to see the zoo on the advice of an animal-loving friend. I'm so glad we did! It is a lovely zoo, and Pueblo was so green and lush. The zoo is on the small side, but beautifully maintained with some really nice exhibits and animals that were interactive and fun. We had such a wonderful time!

A statue of Mudpie!

racing with otters

Can we get a chicken Daddy?

Lots of peacocks and peahens

I haven't seen one of these in years!

Lions

So many pretty trails

A giant spiderweb

Geese and goslings--so cute!

an inspiration garden--I love all the herbs and the cute chicken coop with it's own yard and white picket fence

We love spring in Colorado! Can't get over all the green :)

After our zoo excursion, we were starving so we headed to the Riverwalk. It's a man made "river" but it was very nice and clean with lots of cute water front restaurants. We found a random pizza place and it turned out to be the most awesome pizza EVER! :) Connor loved walking along the water and watching the boats go by.

It was a fun day and we're thinking about getting a zoo membership so we can visit more often.
